The sound, is no doubt incredible. I have tried these out multiple times since my friend owns a pair. But after an hour of use, they are uncomfortable. The lamb skin does nothing to cushion the hard metal behind it. For those whose ears have well defined ridges, these headphones will be painful after an hour of use.

But yet again, i cannot emphasize this enough, the sound is awesome. I matched this thing up with a small vacuum tube amplifier. Holy shit i have never heard anything so clear.

Maybe I just have a funny shaped head.

This will be an online roundup as we're planning to significantly increase the number of reviews we publish online (in addition to the reviews that we publish in the magazine Reverse Cell Phone Lookup. I would second the recommendation of this article. Get them, screw Bose, they have NOTHING on B&W.

I've been looking to buy a new pair of headphones but these things are thrice what I'm looking to pay. They look nice, though.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. We're working on an in-ear heaphone roundup in the $100 price range that we'll be publishing in about three weeks. This will be an online roundup as we're planning to significantly increase the number of reviews we publish online (in addition to the reviews that we publish in the magazine). Stay tuned!

Bowers & Wilkins makes some amazing audio equipment (I love my 600 series home theater speakers). It's no supprise to me that their first foray into headphones is nearly perfect. If you have the money, I would second the recommendation of this article. Get them, screw Bose, they have NOTHING on B&W.
