No BS Podcast #95: Gordon is a Futurist
Who can forecast the future? We certainly can't, as indicated by the large stack of HD DVD movies sitting on our shelves. But some of the attendees at this year's TED (technology, entertainment, design) conference are professional futurists -- men and women who can intuit the next hundred years of human and technological development. Their predictions, along with the other presentations at TED are among the many topics of discussion on this week's podcast. The gang also talks about Core i7 overclocking and the revival of one of our most beloved gaming franchises. All that plus Gordon's rant in our 95th podcast. How should we celebrate our 100th episode?

Background laughter from the futurist comment from Gordon 14:39 minutes into it... makes this the best podcast ever.

Arguing which Star Trek show sucks less is the same as pulling braids over which My Little Pony is best. Here, got the answer for you: all of them including the original are garbage.
I'd've gone with "Star Trek is @#!$ing complete idiotic dog#$#^, are you %$^%ing kidding me?" but the point of that is blunted by the making it safe for work bit. Star Trek has roughly as much to do with quality science fiction as a bottle of Juicy Juice does with, well, you know, something from a tree. There's a connection in there somewhere but got to work to string the two together.
Also, pegboard, I get it. It's rather clever. Fits. It also makes the website butt ugly. There's only so much orange a person can stand and this is way over the line

Yeah BF2 only had the fixed anti-air placements and some maps had mobile anti-air armor units. Battlefield 2142 has an unlockable anti-air launcher, but they're just not worthwhile because they don't do enough damage and the air units are not as dominant as they were in BF2.

You guys have to make a virtual tour of your lab like google street view but inside the building with 360 degree views.

Not a bad podcast update, MxPC. I liked it. Where is the rest of the team, though? I kind of miss the ol' gang I was so familiar with.

Did you hear that, Mr. Ung and you other podcasters? Please at least acknowledge that you might take up Andy's offer. (Or at least that you have read it)

Yeah! With a tour of the lab and real footage of the yellow sponge! Maybe even footage from the whole building with super-precise geotagging tied to google earth with a 3D model. (Well, at least the first part about the lab)
