No BS Podcast #180: Sabotage!

Is it that time already? Gordon, Alex, and Nathan gather in our once-again-functional podcasting studio to discuss HP, LSI buying SandForce, Battlefield 3, Diablo III, and more! All this, plus suggestions from the peanut gallery and more in Episode 180 of the No BS Podcast! Unfortunately, the MacBook in the podcasting studio cut off the last 20 minutes of the podcast for unknown reasons, so we don't have a rant. Rest assured that this will become fodder for next week's rant.

Gordan mentioned that smart phones only comes in either black or white. But that's why there's accessories for that: color skin, color cases...

Very entertaining podcast as usual.
Can't wait for your next bi-monthly podcast.
I look forward to hearing about new products that will be released after new years.
Sabotaged by a MacBook...... are you suprised by this?

I have enjoyed your podcasts in the past, especially when Will Smith was on them, as back then it was fairly consistent in being made every week. But since Will fled and took the telephone message code with him, I have found less and less value and entertainment with each passing podcast. It seem often that by the time you decide to TRY and produce a podcast, the topics are dated and you usually don't have any insightful or informative comments that I haven't heard already heard weeks earlier on other computer/technology podcasts. Also, Gordon's rants seem more & more forced, thus less funny and actually have become dueling rants with Nathan.
Hard to complain about something you offer free.. but.. unless you all can iron out your technical difficulties AND produce on SOME regular schedule (can't do at least every other week?), I find your podcast an unnecessary waste of time for you to produce and me to listen to. You make a great magazine and website.. but a lousy podcast!

A new podcast?
I heard that you guys retired from podcasting. This brings me back to the old days... :)

why are you using a crapbook to record a MaximumPC podcast? There's plenty of software on a PC to record audio and mix it.

Maybe the radio shack microphones from last time are not compaible with PCs

Because our company has one podcast recording studio, and we don't have any control over the hardware they use.

Why not just carry a PC Laptop into the recording studio and hook up ur mics to it and do your podcast that way? You could have infact closed the lid on the MacBook (nice laptop by they way) and put a PC laptop on top of it and plugged in the Mic gear into it. It wouldn't have been hard and you could have even layed a towel on top of the Macbook to protect it. I don't blame you guys for messing it up though, how could you possibly know how to use a Mac when you are a PC.

Yeah! How dare you spend your time to giving your fans something for free for them to listen to every week. I mean, what an absolute outrage it is to be using mics from The Shack no less. Honestly, how do you people live with yourselves knowing the hungry masses of MxPC freeloaders bitch about your equipment?

Actually, ever since I started listening to the podcast, I can't read articles by Gordan without Gordan's voice inside my head. It's like Audible.com magazine for free!

It's disappointing how severely the production schedule has slipped recently.
