Zotac Launches GeForce GTX 560 Ti AMP! Edition Card
Zotac, which claims to be the world's largest channel manufacturer of graphics cards, motherboards, and mini-PCs, took a standard GeForce GTX 560 Ti series videocard, goosed the clocks, spiffed up the heatsink, and released it as an AMP! edition part. Included with new card is a download voucher for the upcoming Ubisoft title, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, as well as the company's Boost Premium software bundle consisting of five various apps and utilities.
Here's how Zotac's AMP!-lified card stacks up to Nvidia's reference design:
- GPU clockspeed: 950MHz (vs 822MHz)
- Shader clockspeed: 1900MHz (vs 1645MHz)
- Memory clockspeed: 4400MHz (vs 4008MHz)
Otherwise, the AMP! edition card ships with 384 unified shaders, 1GB of GDDR5 memory, dual-link DVI-I and mini HDMI 1.4a outputs, 3D Vision Surround support, and everything else you already know about the GeForce GTX 560 Ti, plus a snazzy looking cooling apparatus.
As for the goosed clockspeeds, Zotac says the AMP! edition had to pass its "rigorous DirectX 11 testing procedure without a single graphical artifact," meaning it should run stable.
Zotac didn't say when the new card would be available or at what price point.
