It's too bad they're doing this. Having the open API was allowing some nice spin off products for video. Using my camcorder, I was able to get great results using a secure digital high capacity card and uploading directly to Youtube. Oh well. I'm sure they'll have something good coming out.

That probably won't be effected,only the add free viewers. Honestly i would have just prefer the ads being ported to the API

little pop ups at the bottom of the video like "buy spiderman 3" for spiderman clips or "buy this song" in MVs. And more recently "preview ads" before SOME movies.
