If data protection ever finds itself in need of a spokesman, we'd sign up to be its crazy street corner preacher in a minute. Oh, wait. The position's already filled! A YouTube user by the name of susyj87 can proudly boast that she's the most hardcore data backup enthusiast around after getting a sleeve tattoo comprised of the Facebook profile pictures of 152 of her "closest" friends. Sorry to break the bad news, closest Facebook friend number 153.
Susyj87 made a point of silencing any critics who think the tattoo was a poorly thought-out move."Of course I gave it a lot of thought," susyJ87 commented on her YouTube video. "These are not all my friends. Just the people I care most about. I got their permission and they were very proud to be on it. To me it represents who I am right now and the time we live in."
Note for the next arm: adding your friends' profile URL underneath the pictures would make the tat stylish and functional!
That... Is just insane. I wonder what language were they speaking? Sounded like Arabic. A lot of my Egyptian friends love FaceBook a little too damn much. It is like their life or something. So FaceBook is clearly a part of that woman's life.
To me, women look better natural. No tattoos, make-up, or plastic surgeries. As a woman, I, myself could never understand the concept of TrampStamps. It's like bringing outside into your home... Just want to stay far away from it. Of course, I am all for cool body art... Like what they do in India or Africa.
Yeah, if you go to a college computer lab here, you're guaranteed to see half the screens on facebook. They are just so so so into. It freaks me out. I don't think this tattoo is all that related to Facebook, really. It's just where she got her friends pictures.
To be fair to the Egyptians, Facebook did kind of help them out a lot recently.
There's nothing wrong with disliking tattoos. I honestly don't like most tattoos. It's another thing to be personally insulting about them, which a lot of people do without even realizing they're being insulting. People show me their tattoos all the time, and I rarely like any of them... but it's not about me. I'd never say "Wow, no offense, but that's ugly. I just don't like girls with tattoos and would never date you."
You are right. Those computers were put there to help students further educate themselves. Instead of being productive with the computers, they do none educational things like chatting it out on FaceBook. Sometimes the labs will be full. I am not sure if they even care. To be honest with you, I do not know why some people are taking this FaceBook craze too seriously.
FaceBook did help the Egyptians, but it is just a website. Some people named their new borns FaceBook, and Like. I kid you not. I guess I do not see FaceBook's popularity eye to eye.
I too, have never been brave enough to tell another person their tattoo sucks. I can never hurt another person's feelings. Especially if some woman paid a lot of money for it. I am all for body art... But most of the time, these tattoos are the same. Either some Chinese word they, themselves can not read, some dragon or snake. I like the more cultural ones, like the body tribals or some decorative lines. I only like it if it has some cultural reference to it.
I do like girls with nice tattoos, and I can tell you, between people who will be rather open to call them ugly (mostly in backhanded ways like "Oh, you'd be so pretty if you didn't have tattoos!") and people who assume the girls are "easy" or "good in bed" because of them, they get a lot of unwanted attention from sexist guys. It's sad to see, because as a male with visable tattoos, I never have to put up with that kind of crap, normally people only say nice things to me (what they think may be different, but so be it).
I personally hate the idea of this tattoo, though think that it actually turned out to be a pretty nice and unique piece of work in the end. As time goes by, and each one of these people have a story, it'll make the tattoo even cooler. How often do you think back to all the friends you had when you were young? Kudos to the lady for thinking of and going through with it.
What I wouldlike to know, is what all of this cost, and what she does fo ra living to pay for these tat;s as they are not cheap. My ex just got a tat of our 8 year daughter (head shot only, b&w tat), and it set her back $600. These are full color tats, and I know it had to cost considerably more then $600.
You don't "know" that. It's a service provided, and the prices can range widely depending on who's doing it, and what deal they cut you. It's not like a car that comes at a fixed price from the factory. I'm also pretty sure that the level of detail here is far more important than colour. It's not like getting copies made at Kinkos.
And as Deviate says, some people do have money. I've never seen this question asked in such a way when someone puts together a killer case mod.
I still stand by my question. My ex had a detialed tat of our daugher done, the more detail the more expensive, that is why the $600 price. I doubt it cost her $600 per pic, as her are basically thumbnail sized, but they are detailed pics. Myself, I would not spend this much on a tat or a case mod. Rather spend the money on the components, as how it looks does not make it perform any better.
