x64 Vista, WS 2008 Users: Windows Search 4.0's Been Rereleased for You

Earlier this month, we told you about the new (and much improved) production release of Windows Search 4.0 for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and their server counterparts, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008.

If you're running x64 editions of Windows Vista SP1 or Windows Server 2008, it's time to grab a rereleased version of Windows Search 4.0. It's an 11.9MB download. Other versions of Windows Search 4.0 have not been rereleased.

Although details of the changes since early June are not available at this writing, it's usually a good idea to grab a rereleased version of a utility to make sure you have the latest and 'bestest' version.

If you haven't tried Windows Search 4.0 yet, stop by KB940157 for links to the latest versions for all supported operating systems
