Well I think the change is welcomed by everyone, I'm sure up for it. I don't see the real benefits of multitasking, I never used the this on my phone. All I want from a phone is easy use, practical features and accessibility. Dinny - toll free numbers

Frankly, this is a dumb decision. They should make it an option and let the user decide. This smacks too much of the Apple monarchy approach, and they can kiss my ass. I will decide what is right for my phone.

I'll bash for ya. I have a touch pro and a Palm pre on sprint and use the pre as my main phone because it blows the touch pro outta the water in everything it does. MS now seems to want you to game instead of using it for a phone or for business duties. That's why they probably want to limit multitasking, so you can game longer, and it turn, buy more games. It's a phone MS. Get a grip. Most of us want to mutitask....not game.

I think its funny that the spam filter blocks real posts, but when I spam the message board with complaints about spam I don't get blocked.

I mean, how much do people want to do with their phone except not using it as a phone? I love extra features, don't get me wrong, but in the end, I by a phone to make calls. Yes I do use some quick net, some text, music and pics, but I want a phone. I got a computer for all of the extra stuff.

I don’t have a problem with that. In the past I was able to run so many apps at once on my windows mobile phones that it degraded the operations to almost not being able to make calls. I attribute that to a very bad task manager and being allowed to lunch so many apps that you run out of memory and the OS did not give you any warning. This was a very big problem on the older windows CE phone. Believe me you don’t want to use a phone that is sluggish or not responsive when you want make a call. Many four letter words come to mind.
