in the begging everything was white, cases, keyboards, mouses, monitors, printers, etc. i wish they would stay white, but what can you do?! everything is black now, so i wouldn't buy a white phone.

i didn't understand what you guys are talking about in the comments.

from what i understand, i think apple is just holding a product with problems, before releasing it to us. thank god!

i was gonna post something about the article, but this is my last time because i'm sick of the new 'secret words' I have to type in everytime I want to post. Really? if I'm logged in, that's not enough??

"given scuffling" BTW

Are you serious? After the spam filter debacle, where it was nearly impossible to get a post through. And with no filter we see tons of garbage posts trying to sell sneakers and microwaves. Captcha is the best bet for slowing down spam. I'll gladly take the extra 5 seconds to type in two words after a post if it means no spam filter and no endless spam.

If 5 seconds is just too much extra effort for you, what you had to say couldn't have been that important anyway.

I never saw any of that crap.... regardless... if I login, I shouldnt have to mess with that.... I'll stick with OCN for my news from now on.... cancelling my subscription too.....between this security BS and posting shit online before the magazine, MaxPC has gone downhill. Not renewing my subscription and deleting from my bookmarks. Was sick of reading articles online then seeing them in my magazine weeks later. PLUS............ they're days behind on other sites posting breaking news. Sorry.. but done.

'Intimated of' ...........gayness

ANDROID ROCKZORZ AND FAIL JOBS WILL NEVER SELL 9 MILLION OF THEM BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR (unless they can meet demand with production) BECAUSE DESIGNS ARE ANNTENUATED FAIL GATE!!!!

You, know. Been reading this rag for a decade. I am not a new website hit. When your staff trolls for hits with sauce this weak (Associated Press blurbs + smug invective) it diminishes the real journalism and fantastic writing that actually goes into MaximumPC.

It didn't work for cNET or ZDnet ether. They got plenty of traffic from fanboys on both sides flooding in to rant like tools, but at the end of the day both brands just became diluted to the point where serious and casual tech readers alike just wrote them off.

"we know our readers" my ass, clearly you don't.

"...get off thinking they fixed the problem by offering cases that fix the problem..."  so let me get this straight, you're mad that they offered a free solution to a known problem?  or are you mad about the problem in the first place?  because regardless, i'm pretty sure you don't have an iPhone and if you do, you better return it before your 30 days are up because the stress it seems to be putting on you is probably bad for your health.

Ok, I am getting tired of everyone bitching about the various news on the MPC blog. Yes, it is a great magazine with great articles. Yes, it would be totally awsome if every blog entry on this site was as good as an article from the magazine. But here is the thing. This isn't a magazine, this is a web log. It isn't published and read once a month, it is published and read constantly. A lot of people check this site every day expecting to see at least 10 new articles. Thats like publishing a full magazine every single day, 365 days a year. You just can't do that with original content.

There are sites like anandtech that only publish first hand news and reviews. Anandtech is great, but lets be honest, we are lucky to see 2 articles a week. I come here for tech news, I go there for in depth analysis. Both styles have their merits, I wouldn't want either of them to change.

So, if all you want to see here is MPC articles, know that you are asking for a tech news site that only has 1 announcement a day at best. Thats no longer a news site then, its just a digital recreation of the magazine. If I want the magazine and only the magazine, I will read.... the magazine. But I want news, and this site does what all news sites do, from CNN to your local nbc affiliate, they report on news that has come over the wire. They aren't there personally reporting. They are reading what came in over the wire, and playing video that someone else shot. Get used to it, thats the news.

What in the world are you talking about?  "Rant like tools" much?

Captchas work for me.

Well it's a magazine. You either like it or hate it. I just want to know about the latest and faster computer hardware available. I also want in-depth reviews of the newest and latest hardware and the hardware of the near future. I actually enjoyed the articles on Plasma screens and OLED displays that were to replace LCD's in laptops because at the time everyone that called himself a power user had a high end NEC flat CRT monitor with a super fine grill. And the reporting on E-Ink when it was just a proof of concept thing was awesome. Now you can purchase devices with E-Ink displays. And OLED's are great in small devices but where are the Monitors.

But anyhow, on to the topic. I'm willing to bet that Apple is taking this time to put a wire on the antennae or install a small piece of scotch tape on each White Iphone 4.
