I leave my 6 cores overclocked to 4.0Ghz each on all night running a server while I'm not using the computer! Plus all the case lights that make it look nice. Only console users are worried about energy consumption haha!

It also consumes much less power because no one plays it any longer...

"Or you could say the hell with it and build a dual- or tri-videocard gaming PC, power consumption be damned." - AMEN to that brother!

I personally leave my computer on all night. Those tree huggers can go shove it with their green crap. For every person trying to go green, there needs to be another that consumes 5x the energy.

Exactly! If they aren't using the energy, then it's just sitting there as potential energy and not being utilized properly! It's our duty to consume it for them.

I'm so glad someone shares my philosophy! I always tell my friends "There are so many people being green and living in dirt houses, so they make up for me!"

With the graphics performance of the Wii being what it is, you wouldn't expect it to pull as much power as a PS3 or Xbox 360. The Wii is marketed to people who don't like video games (the elderly, women) or people who are entertained by colors and movement, not hardcore gamers. Does a netbook pull as much power as a SLI quad core gaming rig? Absolutely not.
