This is what Left 4 Dead Looks Like at 3600x1920
Ever wondered what it would be like to game at 3600x1920? Of course you have! And lucky for your, [H]ardOCP has posted a screenshot of Left 4 Dead 2 running at just such a resolution courtesy of its Eyefinity setup running on a Radeon HD 5870. Check out the full sized pic here.
In case you haven't been following, AMD surprised everyone in September when it showed off a single videocard powering six 30-inch Dell dsiplays configured as a single, 7680x3200 resolution monitor. Will Smith took the whole thing in and has a writeup on it here.
Best of all, AMD is launching CrossFire Eyefinity support with its awesome HD 5970 videocard. Some 22 games are supported, with more on the way.

Really? Is that a real question? Have you honestly completely avoided attaining any knowledge of this product and still commented about it? w/e. anyways, Eyefinity is a NATIVE feature for ALL 5700 AND 5800 series Radeon cards. Please educate yourself before asking a question that would make a n00b feel superior. Thanks.

Perhaps you should take a step back there. I am pretty sure he was refering to the as yet unreleased boards with 6 display port connectors. These are the only boards that can run this many displays. The other connectivity options are limited to some lower number. I just can't be bothered right now to go find all the details to fully educate you.

If he doesn't know the features, I think it's a fair question. Nothing to rant about.

I love multi-monitor setups, heck, I'm using one right now. I'm just not sure I'd want to play a game on more than one LCD. Am I alone in this? Or others feel like sometimes more is not better.

If you zoom in so you have a 1:1 pixel ratio you'll be able to see it in all it's glory, albeit a small piece at a time. You'll have to pan around to see it all.
