Western Digital Paves Way for Cheaper Ultrabooks with New 7mm Mobile Hard Drive

What's the speed of these drives? The WD Green is borderline intolerably slow at 5,400rpm (even with the 64MB cache).

5400 RPM? Comrades, that's 2000 speeds. I don't understand how anyone can tolerate it. I can barely tolerate 7200 RPM.

What I do want to see are ultrabooks with hybrid 7,200 (or 10,000) RPM drives. I think SSDs, but they're too expensive. And traditional HDDs are a bit too underwhelming. How about a tradeoff?
