Ive created the PS DeVito. Its a portable play station powered by Danny DeVito graphics and i must say its much better than the PS Vita.

Oh Vita, such an ironic name for a product that was still-born.

Price of a PS Vita 3G First Edition launch bundle = $349.99
Amount one just sold on eBay for w/ free shipping = $310.00
eBay posting fees for typical item of this kind = $ 2.00
eBay final value fee assessed @ 9% sell price = $ 27.90
Typical cost of postage for item this size/weight = $ 11.95
---------
Total profit (Sale price - Purchase price + Fees) = $-81.84

That's right folks, assuming the seller paid full retain price for this Vita, he actually LOST 82 bucks, plus the time spent on buying it, taking the photos, putting up the listing, boxing it up, and taking it to the post office. For comparison's sake, when the iPad 2 first came out around this time last year, I was making a profit of around 120-150 bucks per selling the ten I managed to get from area Target stores that got more stock than the rest of the country, apparently. Anyone who is interested in this thing already got the Japanese version, apparently, and a quick browse of local stores showed shelves full of these things, and no one asking about them. It's an unnecessary product at a humorously inflated price, so of course it's not selling. I'm glad TechRadar liked it, but unless they can purchase a million of them in the next year, Sony is going to take a serious bath on this one.

"We love the PS Vita - it's everything you could want in a modern handheld console."

Prediction: It doesn't sell well. You heard it here first.
