Android 2.3 was really the best that they could do? if this is supposed to be optimized for mouse and keyboard input and has an HDMI, why not use a 3.x version?

And so it begins. The transformation of PCs from running Winblows over to Android. This will get interesting. I see this as a "toe in the waters" test market move. If this interests enough consumers, it may help drive the development of a fully desktop computer version of Android OS to run on current PC hardware.

That is a interesting thought, wouldn't mind as long as i would not get stuck playing angry birds instead of real games:P

Well the link to www.apc.io is working this morning.

I am interested but I will wait, wait, wait until I receive my Rasp Pi unit right now.

i think if i was to use something like this i would not case it, i would embed it like in the back of a lcd monitor or something.

Linux > Android
$35 < $50

I'll stick with the Pi.
Assuming I can ever get my hands on one.

They saw the massive interest in the Pi and thought they'd do a little bandwagon jumping.

I would love to see how amazingly powerful and inexpensive the Pi will be in 10 years. It'll probably blow an i7 Ivy Bridge CPU and motherboard out of the water. :D
