We don't usually post game trailers here at Maximum PC, but every once in a while something comes along and knocks our proverbial socks straight into the sun. The complete Deus Ex: Human Revolution CG trailer fits that description quite nicely. Also, those were our favorite socks. We're pretty much devastated right now.
For the uninitiated, the game stars security guard Adam Jensen and his amazing Swiss army knife robo-arms. Oh, and also the most tear-jerkingly gorgeous dystopian cityscape we've ever seen. Invisible War may have been something of a rude awakening for Deus Ex fans dreaming of a perfect sequel, but we'd be lying if we said our hopes weren't sky-high for Human Revolution. Enough from us, though. Marvel at the trailer below.
haha, i laugh awkwardly at you fools mostly because i cant tell if you're joking or not. there is no difference between PC and consoles, there's no high end game that couldnt be implemented on PSone hardware. its just game mechanics and storylines, has nothing to do with hardware. production value killed video games, they went from being an escape to a quest for realism. but you dumb fools had something to do with it as well. thanks for stopping by.
If you're at least in your mid 30's, you might remember the movie "Blade Runner". Very simular in look, and I love Blade Runner anything. Hopefully this game pans out because the trailer is a piece of art in itself.
If it is a Console-Kiddie game I have no interest. If it is going to be a trur P C game and makes use of all that a modern P C can do I will be first in line.
One other comment, all this crappy spam lately is keeping me from reading the comments. Who in here would ever use their site to buy anything?
Yeah the spam is really lame. "Christmas was approaching . Everyone must was looking forward to it and was preparing for it " Christmas was approaching? If your gonna spam here at least use proper english.
Every time I watch a trailer for this game, I just sit there with a big dumb grin on my face. The original Deus Ex is by far the greatest game ever crafted by human hands, even to this day. If this one is half as great as the original, it will be awesome incarnate.
I just hope the port to PC is as lame as all the others so that the people who've kept the game alive on the forums, via mods, et cetcetera, continue to get screwed.
On the plus side, looks like they've gone back to political/historical conspiracy rather than the religious hokum that made IW horrible to play AND listen to.
Of course this looks impressive, but I don't see how anything as good as Deus Ex could be made now-a-days, it just doesn't lend itself to consoles very well at all.
Eh, it would be better as a CG movie. From the DRM that makes it easier to steal the game than use it legally to the crappy graphics on all "current" game consoles, I'm predicting a flop.
I'm going to get this. Its like an even more bad ass world of Ghost in the Shell. Hope an anime is made on this one to really get the emotion of the story fleshed out.
