OnLive Beta Officially Kicks-Off

Still skeptical as to whether or not OnLive can live up to the lofty promises it’s made? Well then, now’s your chance to take a peek behind the curtain and finally reveal the smoke and mirrors, alien technology, or whatever else is back there.
OnLive’s beta has officially begun. If you want in on the action, just head over to OnLive’s official site, enter some info on your connection speed, and wait a bit. With any luck, you’ll nab a golden ticket, and you’ll be running Crysis on your TI-84 calculator before you know it.
Seriously, though: 60 FPS? 720p? On, say, a machine that hasn’t seen the light of day since 1997? It sounds too good to be true. But we want to believe. OnLive, please don’t break your promises. We’ve been hurt so many times before.

i signed up, but i don't know how well it's going to be on a wireless connection. but wouldn't that make me a good candidate on the beta?

Technically, they're opening it up to the folks who signed up to beta test last year, which I did. I still haven't gotten an invite. But the form they've got up now is for an "open" beta test later down the road.

Actually I would. Onlive has been making a buzz ever since it made its debut and two days after its debut, the main website was up with a beta registration form.
And here we have Grayson announcing the beta for Onlive which was already announced months ago.

I doubt it. I work with so many jackasses like you. Sit at your desk all day and talk big smack on the internet to people you will never have to confront in RL. You do it because it makes you feel better about being such a pussy in RL because you know if you said that shit to someone you would get your coke bottles smashed into your eye sockets.
