What do you wanna bet that nobody makes any maxipad comments?

I've been waiting for a real alternative to the iPad, and all of the companies are utter failures.

if i was a cellphone/pad maker...i don't know how i would be able to live with my company making anything less than spectacular. i just don't get it. i mean, how do you intend to compete with a device like the iPad with a 600mhz arm? i mean really? the 1ghz Snapdragon has been available for quite some time now. In fact there are a few devices running a 1.3ghz snapdragon. wtf? that's like a computer manufacturer introducing a single core desktop clocked in at 800mhz....tomorrow. i don't think this pad will be horrible, but if you want to get noticed...then make something that has features that make folks drool. geez...and i introduce to you the first mediocre pad with great features and limited power, you can run almost anything...some apps may be choppy, but hey...it's not apple :0) buy it now for more money than you care to spend on it because you have no other options -View Sonic-

fyi...archos beat ya to it view sonic

Tab, Tablet, Pad whatever you want to call it the specs and price on this thing scream utter fail!! A 600MHz ARM CPU really? 800 x 480 resolution come on now?? I've been sitting here waiting on a good tablet that will be able to compete with the iPad but this ain't it! I can't wait to see what Samsung has in store for the new Galaxy, hopefully something much better than this junk.

Do we have to call these things pads?

No kidding. I prefer the name Tablet myself. Sounds better!

I agree, why don't we call them tablets more often?
