I'd be more than happy to, provided that Verizon provides a price commensurate with the costs of early terminations.  After I purchased my last phone from them, one month before the end of my contract, they loosened the dogs of early termination on me to the point that I returned the new phone to wait out the extra month.

It used to be companies wanted you to drop a hundred on the new phone and they would waive early charges.  It may not be PC in a Green world, but dammit, I would sooner throw my old phones into a landfill than bargain with Verizon again.

They'll have to pry my old cell phones from my little kids cold dead hands first. Really, my kids sneak off with my old cell phones like Gollum and his ring. Even though I have the battery and the phone has no service, my kids still manage to make lengthy calls to who ever.

In fact my 1 year old boy can turn any item into a cell phone, He is amazing, he can have a conversation with the TV remote placed against his ear.

http://pwcl.org/donate/donate-used-cell-phones/     (gives to victims of domestic violence)
