Ah, the "We won't screw you until Summer... We Promise..." benefit for early adopters.

Being unable to sustain is bullshit.  They just don't want to.

So I renewed my contract in November (Maybe October) and have a DroidX with unlimited $30/month. Come mid-summer, will I no longer have unlimited for $30?

I believe it's for new subscribers.  When you signed up there was a contract signed, so when your contract expires in 2 years, and if you renew you will no longer get unlimited for $30.

Granted, i don't work for any wireless company, or even an internet service provider.  I'm just one of those chumps that pays the fee for high-teir broadband with my cable company and the unlimited data plan with my wireless provider. But i really have to wonder, just how much it costs the provider to provide that service at that speed/rate. The infrastructure is already in place right? The overhead in logistics and manpower?  Sure.  But seriously.....
