They should have a "safe" version of Windows that locks the old folks out of system settings and can be reset to original condition with the push of a button, whenever they've managed to download a virus or malware.

The problem is Windows can be unforgiving, especially to those who've never used a computer in their lifetime.

Also (being a linux fan) you don't need the fastest processors or the "best-of-the-best" in order to run the OS. Windows on the other hand, have stigent requirements and is very unforgiving on older/slower machines.

Its really a testiment to how Linux can utilize pretty much anything and make it work (well i might add).

I'll be keeping my eye on this, since i know some senior citizens who would love to be able to do these things on their own.
