The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas officially begins tomorrow, January 8, and runs through Friday, January 11, but with the blitz of product announcements and keynotes, you would think it actually began today. There's a lot to cover, and throughout the week, we'll be posting roundups of some of the highlights covered by our sister site, TechRadar, which focuses more on the consumer electronics side of the equation (think tablets and TVs rather than graphics cards and liquid cooling). The folks at TechRadar are every bit as passionate about electronics and technology as we are, so show them some love, and tell 'em Maximum PC sent you.
We're dubbing today "Day 0," and it was filled with everything from the expected crop of Windows 8 devices to bendable displays and even a 110-inch UHD TV from Samsung. That's right, one-hundred and ten freaking inches of Ultra High Definition real estate, which undoubtedly requires a man cave large enough to accommodate an entire football team.
You'll also want to check out TechRadar's coverage of LG tinkering with the idea of building its own CPUs, along with the latest in automotive electronics. In addition, you'll find stories on Panasonic's new flagship plasma TV, a TV tablet by RCA, LG's Hecto projection system, and lots more.
We'll update this post when/if necessary, and be sure to check back tomorrow for a fresh roundup!
