T-Mobile Earns Top Spot in Customer Satisfaction Study
T-Mobile customers tend to be the happiest of them all when compared to other major wireless carriers, according to new study by J.D. Power and Associates. The market research firm gave T-Mobile a 5/5 rating in overall satisfaction, compared to 4/5 for Verizon Wireless and 2/5 for both Sprint Nextel and AT&T.
J.D. Power and Associates uses a 1,000-point scale for each of five different categories, including 'Telephone call with customer service representative, ' Industry average, ' 'Retail store,' "Automated response system,' and 'Web-based contact.' T-Mobile took top honors for the second consecutive with an overall score of 758.

Which is your wireless carrier and how would you rate them?

Maybe it's just because we use them indoors, but our T-mobile handsets at work are notorious for their terrible reception.

I'm currently with T-mobile, have had several phones including the HTC HD2 and HD7 to name the most recent and I must say that their call qualityis pretty bad. I get pretty bad reception. I've been to many places in the country and when I have no signal I know the ATT and Verizon guys have signal. As for customer service is all depends on the reps you get, some are nice and freindly while others are rude and give you the runaround. If anything they are the lesser of ther other evils, they each have their pros and cons. Thats my two cents.

I do not trust any surveys performed by JD Powers, as whoever writes them the biggest check gets the greatest review. Consumers Union (Consumers Report) just released theri quality rating on cell carriers several weeks ago, and they have Verizon in 1st followed closely by Sprint with AT&T bringing up the rear. T-Mobile was only a few spots ahead of AT&T.

I am with Verizon and I can't really complain about the service or the network quality. But the prices I have for a four person family plan are through the roof! Two smart phones with unlimited data/texting and two regular phones with unlimited texting and 800 shared minutes runs me about 220/month.
I just moved to T-Mobile myself so I could get the MyTouch 4G. The sales guy quoted me a plan for my wife and the kids when they finish up with Verizon. It's basically the same plan only for $180/month.

I would have to agree. Not to mention HDSPA+, Unlimited Data & Dell Venue Pro.
