Hmmm...first McAfee and now Symantec. Well at least my dad's work machine hasn't used either of these. I remember using McAfee to remove some malware and boy did it piss me off a lot.

I'm a network admin, and ditched Symantec for McAfee. Symantec Endpoint Protection (Symantec's business class anti-virus) has *known* documented issues which cause network server disconnects on servers dating back to 2008 which took them 3 years to resolve. In businesses, this is totally unacceptable. Not to mention 2+ hours on hold to support which just collectively scratch their head. How the mighty have fallen.
