You better come up with a plan, Steve. This will be the first new Windows OS that I've skipped, and I've been a customer since Win 95. I suspect there are many more like me.

It's quite obvious Balmer & Sinolfsky simply don't care about what their customers expect or want. And why should they...their Golden Parachutes take care of them.

The MS board of directors should boot them both out and take legal actions so they don't collect any monies from their dismissal on the grounds of putting MS in harm's way by means of their monumental egos.

Same here, and I even bought ME and Vista. Not this one.

So if Win 8 fails, will MS sink or will it for them to innovate (i.e. buy more companies)? Either way, it will mean good things to different people, except everyone will be too busy despairing over Win 8.
