Spore’s Will Wright Working on New Mega-Game, Doesn’t Want You to Know about It

So Spore didn’t change the way we looked at games forever, but that doesn’t mean the next link in Will Wright’s evolutionary chain will pop out of the primordial ooze half-baked. Especially not if Wright’s right, and his next project spends the next three years getting dolled-up for its big day.
"I'm working on a big new project that I'm very excited about, but I don't want to talk about it yet because if it takes three years to come out I don't want people saying 'Wow, he's been talking about that for a loooong time,'" Wright told Joystiq at Spike TV’s Videogame Award show.
So then, for those soured by Spore, what will it take to earn back your goodwill? A new SimCity? Something totally un-Sim-like? A game that isn’t hyped to the point that -- even if it were quantifiably better than sex -- it’d be considered a disappointment?

Maybe this time we will have our hands full with fungus under the microscope, just watch out he might actually do it.

Unless it's SimCity 5 I am going to never ever buy a Will Wright produced game Why do you make bull like Sims and Spore? SimCity is where it's at. You should see some of the Sim City 4 Communities now, it's crazy..

Is a pile of fail that was dropped on the failboat and sank in the failing sea. I will never buy a title with DRM on it. Ever.
And for you losers who think gaming is better than sex. Go get some already. Get out of your mom's basement.

"even if it were quantifiably better than sex"
Nothing... NOTHING... is better than sex... Except maybe Stargate SG-1, computers in general, and, um, well, eh, idk. I guess just those two things.

I know exactly what it will be: SimWright
You control all the intricate inner workings of the sim-genius, keeping him fed with brain-charging foods and hydrated with water and root beer. You'll tweak and alter the inner workings of your Wright, from how much sleep he gets to how often he needs to go potty. All these conditions and events will affect your SimWright's AI brain (a direct download of creator Will Wright's mind), and create you a new game every few years (game time). You can then sell this game for gobs of money.
Then Will Wright will retire and enjoy his Scrooge McDuck-sized fortune by buying the actual Russian space program and building his robot army, which will make us all duck and cower using ping-pong ball machine guns.

I remebver when they released full games that were fun without "expanshion packs" more like important aspects.
PS I think the new game will be Sim Tower.

Horray, the celebrated will wright is bringning something new to the table.
Will, is it ok if I call you that?
Spore was a success, but failed to live up to most peoples expectations. For one, EA was assuing Spore would be riddled with monopolization. (20$ for parts packs!?) Let us not forget the awful DRM schemes too. Will, this game could be amazing if it appeals to the hardcore gamers that have supported you since Sim City days. Please, dont make this game appeal to the casual audience while alienating your near and dear fans. Spore had amazing potention, but it came short because it fell prey to what most games suffer today from:
1) Casualization
2)Monopolization
3)DigitalRightManaganization(DRMsation)
Please Will Wright SHOW US YOUR TRUE COLORS. TAKE A RISK. DONT ALIENATE US.

There are so many of us who will never know if it is good or not if he puts SecuRom on it. SecuRom torked one of my computers once and it took me hours to clean it off. Never again.
