i would never watch a 3d tv channel..i do not like 3d at all..not only does it not look tht good to me when i watch it, but it also hurts my eyes after a good 30 mins or so..and those damn cardboard glasses hurt my ears too. why don't we work on something to advance the technology as opposed to making it 3d.

I completely agree with you. I hate this stuff. The technology is so niche and it hasn't progressed as much as they are trying to hype it. The glasses are still bulkey annoying accessories and even the really high end ones (that look like a pair of oakley's) are easily prone to breaking. They also cost an arm and a leg (if you want a decent pair). Furthermore, this entire system is a complete pain in the ass for anyone who prefers glasses to contacts. Anyone who actually thinks that there have been serious breakthroughs in 3d technology that would allow for widespread consumer adoption needs their head examined.
