Social Networking Addiction Helps Apprehend Burglar
Posted 09/18/09 at 05:18:05 PM by Jason Barry
Jonathan G. Parker of Fort Loudon, PA was arraigned on Tuesday on a single felony count of daytime burglary. He is being held for $10,000 dollar bail and if convicted, could be sent to prison for up to10 years. That is where the seriousness ends, and the hilarity begins.
When he broke into the victim’s house, he was looking for jewelry and apparently had a hankering for some casual Facebook-ing. Parker evidently used the victim’s computer to log into Facebook. The sly fox that Parker is, he didn’t log himself out before leaving the scene with $3,500 worth of jewelry.
Deputy P.D. Ware from the Berkeley County Sheriff's Department responded to the incident where the victim realized Parker’s mistake. He was arrested after the police department spoke with some of his friends.

HAHAHAHAHA. Fort Loudon, PA is about five miles from where I grew up. It's no surprise at all that a criminal this stupid came out of that place.
Seriously? "I'm robbing this house, but I think I'll check out some facebook before I go?" How dumb can you get?

to be fair this would be great way to protect oneself
step 1: hack random facebook user
step 2: rob 3rd party house, use hacked credentials on 3rd pc
step 3: Profit while second party takes the wrap
