So, a Movie about Farmville is Happening
After Freddy Got Fingered, we really shouldn't be surprised at the junk Hollywood will cast on the silver screen. Yet somehow we're still a little shocked that Farmville is making the move from Facebook to the local cinema, or at least that's what IGN was able to extrapolate from a recent interview with Toy Story writers Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen.
The duo told IGN they're working on a number of new projects and are in "conversations with Zynga to do something with one of their brands." They didn't come right out and mention Farmville, only heavily hinted at that being the subject of a new movie.
"Can't really say too much on that front yet, but 'Old MacDonald' didn't have a factory, if you get our drift," the writers said.
No he certainly did not, nor was Mr. MacDonald involved with the mafia, at least as far as we know. But he did have a farm, and if the talks continue to progress, we'll have a Farmville flick.

I'm even less excited about this movie than I am about the "Rockem Sockem Robots" movie they just did.

That garbage topped the box office this weekend... I'm getting to work on a screenplay for Hungry Hungry Hippos immediately.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

I'd rather rip my eyelids off and stare at the sun than watch some crap about Farmville.
Farmville = weapons-grade stupidity. I try to convey to those that send me the invites on Facebook this: I give far less than a steamy pile of poo freshly shat on a humid Wednesday morning about a stupid Zynga game. They don't seem to understand.

"I'd rather rip my eyelids off and stare at the sun than watch some crap about Farmville."
Here's a tip, that should prevent you from performing such an act.
DON'T WATCH IT!
I know, I know. Quite radical thinking, but hear me out. You dispise the movie, and the fact that its going to be absolute crap. But if you never watch it, and do your best to ignore any advertising for it (which will be difficult), then you never have to see it.

Consider the theory that my comment was simply an attempt at humor.
