NFC has been around a while now and despite flaws is ready for prime time, just like online shopping only a fool would use cash instead of an expendable credit line in case of theft.

If someone has access to your phone and you don't have a pin/pattern lock, it's game over anyways. But as far as the first vulnerability goes, just another reason to not root.

Altough the tech behind NFC is meant to be good. Many people put to much info on their phones. That when something happens they are too vulnerable and its why I don't use such tech.

Any idiot who keeps their phone unprotected deserves whatever comes their way. It's no different from a physical wallet. If someone steals that, they can remove the cards and use them.
