LGA1156

Your right... SSD is the future, the drive still spins and still will lag in read and write tasks

"users have yet to saturate the SATA 3Gb/s interface"

What he meant to say was, "Users of old hard disk technology have yet to saturate the SATA 3Gb/s interface." The announcement of new "super fast" HDDs just doesn't get me going anymore. Its like getting excited over the 0 - 60 times of a conversion van. Personally, I don't care if my media storage drive is the fastest on the market. With an SSD system drive, the drives used for storage really don't need to be that fast. The only people that need very large fast drives are people doing stuff like large graphics work and video editing, and they are usually on high end work stations with SAS drives.

I could be way off base here, but in my circle noone cares about high speed sata hard disks anymore.
