If Apple had its druthers, Samsung would go bankrupt and its uber popular Galaxy S III device would be banned from the Milky Way. Those scenarios haven't played out yet, and hopefully never will, but it's easy to see why Apple might be intimidated by Samsung's flagship device. The Korean smartphone maker announced today that it's sold a whopping 20 million Galaxy S III devices since it launched 100 days ago.
That works out to 200,000 devices sold every 24 hours, or nearly 139 every minute, if you want to break it down that far (or more than 2 every second!).
"The Galaxy S III has enjoyed tremendous attention and popularity since its launch in May, and we are thrilled with its success," said JK Shin, President and Head of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics. "I would like to express my sincere appreciation to customers who have chosen the Galaxy S III. We will never stop providing the latest smart mobile technologies to help users live a life extraordinary."
It was recently reported that the Galaxy S III had become the top selling smartphone in the U.S. in August, which is the first time Apple's iPhone ever surrendered the crown. That will probably change when the iPhone 5 is released, but for right now, the Galaxy S III is on top of the world.

Would be the Galaxy 2 Tab 7.0 Student Edition package under $250 which includes the docking keyboard and universal USB adaptor. Although it does not come with a case, (which I found a good one at Newegg with both horizontal and vertical stand with face cover $16.99) if purchased separately, the keyboard goes at $75 and the Universal USB adapter goes at $20. Micro Flash up to 32 gigs can also be added. This particular model is wi-fi only, but that is what I wanted. Wife just dropped four bills on Ipad wi-fi only. I bought the better deal.

Actually, 'it's' is a contraction for 'it has' with the antecedent being 'maker.' So, technically this is grammatically correct, although I do agree it's awkward. But if you're going to be the grammar police, try being correct.

indeed. hopefully this, combined with the newly announced amazon products, will eat into alot of their upcoming sales of "new" products (by that, we all know i mean old shit with very very minor upgrades). not to mention that crapple has already tried to amend their recent lawsuit into including this very phone due to how well it is selling. theoretically, it shouldn't get them anywhere due to the s3 being designed by lawyers so it didn't "infringe" any of crapple's "patents"
