The more important question is who will AMD sell Radeon Graphics to once they go bankrupt later next year?

Ummm, most likely Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.....All of which are using AMD hardware for their next generation of consoles.

I think it'd be pretty cool to have an all AMD build.

Funny, didnt AMD start making RAM a short while after OCZ got out of that market? Now its the same story with SSDs! (sort of) haha.

Looks like a desperation move to me.

Should go great with my amd video cards, CPU, and memory. XD

Hilarity

AMD should give up on CPU's and focus exclusively on APU's and GPU's. Seriously Piledriver is a failure and a complete waste of money. This is the last dying gasp of a company that is completely fucked without heavy duty immediate changes.

Hmmm, that's funny, because according to this site I frequent since Vishera's drop http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ FX procs aren't nearly as bad as you've tried to make them out to be. Must be a teenage Brony type.

Don't feed the trolls!

But if AMD gave up on CPU's.....Where would they get the CPU cores for their APU's?

Wait didn't you say that AMD's APU's were "shit" and even a i3 "murders" them?

avatar

LatiosXT

Who buys their memory? Oh wait, nobody. It was overpriced.

avatar

kixofmyg0t

It's actually not expensive.

Yes, this is a great strategy for bringing a company back from the brink: enter a low-profitability market with too many firms!

LOL this guy gets it. I mean SSD's seem to be doing well, but desktops as a whole arent exactly thriving. Maybe they can squeeze them into tablets or stick them in laptops I guess.
