So basically, with an app like this one could set it so every website they visit would spoof to, lets say, google and unless ISP shaping google, then you get unshaped trafic...

A utility used to root the Nook Color is called Auto-Nooter, could be some cause for confusion...  This looks cool though, even if we don't make it a powerful weapon, I stand behind everything it's trying to accomplish.  And it seems like it can be used to counter ISP traffic shaping.

this is cool and all, but what will it accomplish?  i was thinking about downloading it and using it, but then i thought, SO WHAT if i discover my isp discriminating certain traffic?  then what?  am i going to call them up and be like 'I HAVE PROOF!  YOU ARE SHAPING MY BITS!'  no.... and they wont care.  this app seems cool, but it doesnt solve the problem.

You never know, they just might care you found out. Some companies take a little poking or prodding before you'll get a reaction.

If someone really cares about what their ISP is doing they will download it.

This is a perfect example of a solution looking for a problem.

I look forward to the first case brought forward to an ISP anywhere, that uses this app as proof of traffic shaping.
