Razer Shows Love for Southpaws, Releases First Gaming Grade Mouse for Lefties
Well hi giggly hey, Razer, if Ned Flanders were a gamer, this might be the happiest day of his life. That's because Razer just announced the first gaming grade mouse designed specifically for left-handed fraggers - son of a diddly!
"Leftie gamers have long been requesting that we develop a gaming grade mouse that is designed exclusively for the left-handed gaming community and we really value the feedback we receive from our fans," said Robert 'Razerguy' Krakoff, president, Razer USA. "Not many gamers know this, but I am a southpaw myself and feel truly excited to have a mouse that fits perfectly in my left hand. There is really no substitute for gaming with your naturally dominant hand."
Before right-handed gamers cry foul, this isn't an entirely brand new model, but a left-handed version of the popular DeathAdder gaming mouse. As such, lefties get the same benefits of their right-handed brethren, including a 3500dpi 3.5G infrared sensor, 1000Hz ultrapolling, 1ms response, on-the-fly sensitivity adjustments, five programmable buttons (including two on the right side), and everything else you remember about the Death Adder.
Razer has the DeathAdder for lefties on backorder for $60.

I am right handed. I now use a mouse left handed because of Diablo. <click-ckick-ckick> Carpal Tunnel can sneak up on you....
It took me a month to get proficient in games with the left handed mouse (or trackball). I used the arrows and number pad for everything else initially. Now I have an ambidextrous gaming pad for the right hand and it works very well.
The trackball I use can sometimes come out of the socket and bam, I am dead. Looking for a left handed mouse for this might make things right, but I have yet to see.
Don't bash on the lefties. One day it may be you!

Left people are like Gingers... they have no souls. Move to Europe and get a car with the drivers seat on the right-side as well.

I agree with a lot of people here. Being a southpaw, I have gotten use to using my right hand not just with the mouse, but in everything in life. It is a hard knock life being a lefty.

Heck yes! I've got a Razer Habu, which fits comfortably in the left hand, but I can't use the side buttons. Two more buttons I can use is two more ways to own people, ha!

I'm left handed. I couldn't use a left handed mouse to save my life. It's not that I've gotten used to right handed mice, it's that I've always used right handed mice, and every lefty I know is the same. I can't imagine anyone actually using a mouse left handed. How are you supposed to use the WASD buttons at the same time?

I know what you guys mean, lefty PC gamers get shafted, I'm the only person I know who has 2 mice hooked up to their computer, Ambidextros mice suck. Now if only more companies would see that there is a untapped market of left handed gaming mice.

I've been with the left-handed afflication for as long as I can remember.
But one thing I've never done is use a mouse with my left hand. I would say most leftys like myseflf just got used to using right handed mice. Trying to use one with my left hand feels really wierd. I can see why they don't make more left-handed mice, not even leftys use them!

Here here brother. A life time of using a mouse in my right hand has made it feel natural but I don't want to go around telling people that. They might assume we're not trying hard enough to be "normal" like everybody else.
It's right to be left!!
