Forget the Razer, I want that Picture of Gordon in the Background with an autograph on it lol.

What would be even better is the entire kit they reviewed, plus the sigs from all the editors on the back (including Gordon's) that would be awesome. :-)

How much? For what, a 640M.? Oh right ... nah ...

Are you sure you guys were not doing the review in my closet? Hey well your in there would you untangle my ball of cabling?

avatar

djrebelion

I bet nothing really excites you any more lol. I would have been all friggin giddy in that video. That thing is sick. You're all calm haha.

They do have a good job if you like tech.

The only problem I had was with the lack of space. A nice table would have done you a lot of good.
Otherwise, the video was fine, and I'd watch others -if you did them. Thanks MPC.

Yeah does Apple have the patent for tables or something?

Btw, we actually did the unboxing on a table (though it may look like a shelf) in our lab. We do, however, need to clean up our lab! :P ...I blame it on Gordon for being such a pack rat with his electronics!

Next time we do an unboxing, we'll try to find a more clutter-free environment!

Thanks for the suggestion, guys
Jimmy

$1,450 = no reason for me to watch the video. Might as well go check out a Youtube video of the new Ferrari if I want to ogle at stuff I can't afford.

The Corrupted One

I want one. So much better than the little laptop I have.

Torn between this and the Wikipad(if it ever comes out). At $250 for the Wikipad, I could buy $1200 in apps/games! The Razer "could" replace my laptop with the keyboard dock, but then it starts getting rather expensive. Also sounds as if others here have big issues with Razer, never dealt with them myself. I'd like to see a side by side showdown between these two devices.

And by the way get a table and learn how to focus the camera a little better!

The thing is sold out for months to come. You can only register to be notified. It's a windows 8 machine. That tells me that the problem isn't windows 8. The problem is crappy hardware out there.

By the time I can get my hands on one of these the next gen Intel chips will be out. That should allow quad core and better battery life and take the entire concept up a notch.

Enjoyed watching you unbox this! You're in a hurry to unbox for what many of us would be a ritual that would last for an hour! I'm considering replacing my Alienware M11x with one of these, as that flavor seems to have gone out of style.

Yeah I got a M11x R3 (using right now) and it's plenty good! Love the fact the Razor Edge is smaller and more powerful... But! Here's a BIG factor why I didn't get the Razor Edge instead of my M11x R3, M11x R3 (i5) cost me $615 Razor Edge starts at $1200 (I think) and that's a i5, if I am spending that much money I'd go for the i7, $1500. So it starts at twice the price at least PLUS another $200 for the controller(rip off!)! Idea is awesome and I'd love to buy one some day but for now, No, I could SLI 3 GTX 680's in my desktop or buy a TITAN and get a custom liquid cooling set up for my entire PC! Or my M11x PLUS a GTX 680 with cash to spare! point is it's overpriced, I know for its size its insanely fast but for that kind of cash!?! I would have bought it if the i7 model cost $1,000 or maybe even $1,100 (maybe) but $1,500! dang...

$615 VS $1200-$1500 that's a good amount of dough!

haha. Cool. Unboxing videos can be boring, especially if they last an hour! :P

Glad you enjoyed it.

Duck Dodgers

I think you meant no intergrated graphics.

avatar

Right you are, Duck Dodgers. Right you are.

What a mess !!! Guys couldn't you do it on a table and not on a shelf ?
It's easy to see that you didn't have enough space. I mean to show real class of professionalism . This is not unboxing this is a tearing apart.

don2041

A lot of gadgets to do what, on a tiny screen

avatar

TommM

Cool factor is high with that. But not $1,450 high. :p

avatar

jgottberg

It's cool but I'm not a fan.

avatar

captainjack

I agree ^^. I think that this is cool. But also I am a human being, not a fan.

avatar

PCLinuxguy

I agree that it si a really cool product, but I am not a human, or a fan, just a mop :-)

lol, nicely played :)

And since we are going down that path... When is a door, not a door? When it's "a jar" - har har har. lol
