Quiet Your Xbox 360 for...$900?!

Looking for a noise-dampening cooling solution for your obnoxiously loud Xbox 360 console? A-Tech Fabriction might have just what you need, but after looking at the price tag, you may conclude it's not that loud anyway.
To be fair, the company's HeatSync Three-Sixty 'only' costs $700 (plus shipping, which runs around $25 for UPS Ground) without any add-ons. But should you decide you also want a one-piece rack mount faceplate, black or silver aluminum case feet, memory card ports, accessory ports, DVD drive isolation and machining (which attacks the main culprit of the Xbox 360's noisy cry for attention), and thermal control system, be prepared to tack on another $195, bringing the tally to just under 900 smackers. For $1,200, A-Tech Fabrication will ship the case with a complete Xbox 360 system already installed, or just under $1,400 with all of the aforementioned extras.
What you get in return is a rather attractive heavy-duty chassis constructed from heat-treated aircraft quality aluminum. And with both CPU and GPU cooling benefiting from the integrated cooling system, you might up your odds at staving off the dreaded Red Ring of Death. Just don't tell your significant other how much it costs, or she/he might ring your neck.

Get a PS3

Just get a PS3 rather than staying with a 360. The PS3 is way the better than the 360 at everything and it doesn't overheat. Also you get the same exact online service like XBOX Live for free on a PS3. With a 360, you have to shell out more money for upgrades such as a: charger for your wireless controller, fans, headsets, online, cameras, etc. Had the PS3 since was released and I have been completely satisfied with its features and better exclusive games.

For that price i'd rather keep 2 spare 360's in the closet as backups. Since Microsoft is replacing them for free, not sure their will be much of a market for this.

I've had my 360 for about two years now, and it didn't RROD. The trick? A $20 aftermarket cooler, not a $900 case. Also, putting it in open air (like on top of the cabinet instead of in it).
What noise? I can't hear it

A-Tech... a subsidiary of ---maybe--- Sony?

This is Hilarious!!!
I can't figure out why anyone would bother. If I had this kind of cash to throw at my console, I'd just do the PS3. ---otherwise I'd just be keeping the 360 for Exclusive titles
If I weren't ROFLOL, I'd be at a loss for words...
No thank you, I'm very happy

No thank you, I'm very happy with my Elite, when I buy a new game the first thing I do is install it to the 120 GB harddrive baby HELL YEAH! Although the fans seem to make a shitload of noise.. I will mod it when the warranty runs out. :D
Why not just buy a new 360

Why not just buy a new 360 everytime you get a RRoD if you're going to spend this ridiculous amount of money on a case and fans and extra whatnot.
If you had the $30K TV...

I think you can get away with the $1400 Xbox. Or Playstation Wii60.

Why not just use the case

Why not just use the case that Lian-Li designed for the 360. Sure it voids your warranty, but I am pretty sure that if you keep it nice and cool you wont have to worry about the red ring of death.

Or you could just throw your 360 in the trash, that will keep it quiet.
