Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's… no, really, it's a person! That's what people in New York city have been screaming over the past few weeks as numerous folks saw, well, people flying over the skyline. What the heck? Could Superman be real? Nope -- you're just being sold to again! The flying people are actually nifty flying people-shaped aircraft designed by the Thinkmodo ad agency to spread the viral word about Chronicle, an upcoming 20th Century Fox film in which -- you guessed it -- people fly.
Since the three main characters of the movie have the ability to fly, we came up with the idea of staging a few “flying people” sightings around NYC. We achieved that illusion by having 3 custom-made aircraft (which were shaped like human beings) fly above designated areas in NYC and NJ.
my friend's step-aunt makes $84 hourly on the computer. She has been fired for 9 months but last month her income was $8799 just working on the computer for a few hours. Go to this web site and read more...trunc.it/j8l6h
I've never read the Bible but I know for a fact the rapture was never mentioned in the Bible but rather made popular by the "Left Behind" series of books. Some ignorant people take it as a fact that is why I made mention of it.
"I've never read the Bible but I know for a fact the rapture was never mentioned in the Bible but rather made popular by the "Left Behind" series of books."
Completely backwards statement. It was completely based on the "rapture" that's stated in the Bible. I know this isn't the place for religious discussion, but don't go stating "facts" when you really don't know.
That is pretty cool, I hadn't heard about this until I saw this article. At first glance (of the pic on the main page) I was thinking that it would be people base jumping in those "wing suits" that I'm sure we've all seen videos of on YouTube. ;)
Though in the "zero-tolerance" ultra-paranoid NYC how did these people get permission to do this? Remember the panic that struck when Air Force One flew around NYC for photographic purposes back at the beginning of President Obama's administration?
I did think the music was interesting. It had a cool Deus Ex feel to it IMO. Reminds me that we need more DLC for that, and a high-res texture pack. ;)
That is some pretty cool music. When I see these flying people, makes me think of the future or possibly aliens. To me, it is only a matter of time before we start using jetpacks to commute to work. So this concept is not so far out.
