...with around $217 in charges, I was like WTF!?! The money was reimbursed in like a week, but still....and what security hole? Who is to blame for this crap? I only have an iPhone cause my job pays the bill, but f*** Apple!

So many bad news and attacks on Apple. I almost feel sorry for them.

I don't feel for them one bit! They touted that their crap was superior to everyone else that ANY type of antivirus or security measures weren't needed.....for anything....

I had an unauthorised charge on my Paypal account for Skype alst month, even though I never signed up for Skype. It was only 10 bux, but still. I reported it to Paypal and within 2 days the charges were reversed. Also when you report a false charge they have you change your password (always a good idea) and they also limit your account so no more purchases can be made. I haven't had the chance to figure out how I can re-enable my Paypal account for purchases, but I may not want to for a little while. Anyway Paypal did move pretty fast to fix the issue so I don't think people will have a hard time getting satisfaction from Paypal.

An ellipses consists of only three dots but it doesn't matter because you just ad hominem attacked the living shit out of a strawman. I'm not the one choking on kool-aid here. I guess this place is as it is because people get what they deserve.

MaximumPC sources Techcrunch for this piece of shit bit of non news. You know what techcrunch's source is? Did you read the article? Some tweets.

Outstanding journalism.

Just got off the phone with Steve Jobs.  He was telling me all about the new features I just got with my new itunes account with automatic withdrawls.

Security is a joke, especially online.  Our lives are run by computers and the people who control them.  Consumer protection is the lowest priority.

My credit card company always questions abnormal behaviour because they know they're on the hook if they're not diligent.  I don't believe Apple or Paypal have any such responsibility, and they should.

It'll be interesting to see if they handle this properly and in good faith... or just stick it to everyone!

This can't be true. No way! Apple crap is the safest on earth! Well, that's what apple tells us anyway.....
