There's no mistaking Origin PC's new EON17-X laptop for an Ultrabook. The EON17-X is a full-fledged desktop replacement and the latest to incorporate Intel's X79 chipset in a mobile form factor. It's a "shock and awesome" notebook, as Origin PC describes it, that comes standard with an Intel Core i7 3930K processor, or you can upgrade to a 3960X Extreme CPU for bonus bragging rights.

Highlights include a customizable backlit keyboard with two lighting zones and seven colors, up to 32GB of DDR3-1333 Corsair quad-channel memory or up to 16GB of DDR3-1866 Corsair Vengeance RAM, up to two Nvidia GeForce GTX 580M videocards in SLI or a single Quadro 5010M, up to three storage drives with RAID support, three SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 9-in-1 memory card reader, up to a 6X Blu-ray burner, 2MP webcam, and a fingerprint reader.
