Obama Briefly Rescues Zune from Oblivion

comment Commentsprint Printemail EmailDeliciousDiggStumbleUponRedditFacebookSlashdot

Microsoft’s Zune is seldom in the news, for its much feted rival, the Apple iPod, hogs all the limelight. Now, Philadelphia City Paper’s Neal Santos has revealed that he spotted soon-to-be-President Barack Obama with a Microsoft Zune in a gym. Although Santos was too mesmerized to talk to Obama, he did notice the President-elect hop onto the “machine next to me and broke a mean sweat while reading a copy of USA Today and listening to his Zune.”

He later claimed in a subsequent blog that he knows exactly what a Zune looks like and that he was sure to have spotted Obama with one. However, he isn’t sure whether it was his personal Zune. The blogosphere allows scribes to freely dump such harmless stories, though of no real import, on their blogs.

avatarZunes rock

Ok i dont know why everyone hates zunes, i love them when microsoft updates the software version you can installl it on any zune unlike a ipod. THere software is so much easier to use. the only problem i have is you have to have internet to install there software. other than that zunes are way better than ipods. I have had my zune for 3 1/2 years and its hardly scratched my brothers ipod screen is cracked its got a short in it. the zune is built to handle abuse whereas the ipod you drop it and it dies.

avatarCommon Sense

Born Alive Bill, Card Check, No forms of torture on terrorists, Gitmo closing, death taxes, etc.  Yea Common Sense really prevailed in '08.  As long as our president is hip thats all that matters...right?

avatarwoah!

HEY NOW I AT LEAST HAVE SOMETHING TO LIKE ABOUT THE GUY! haha

zune owns ipod. microsoft should push the zune more. i just got zune marketplace..... holy crap is it awesome....

plus if i can't find an album on there i'll just buy the music off some other thing and port it over to zune marketplace. (as long as it's not drm which seems to be a fading fad in the music industry...) i can find just about whatever i need on there though. even some stuff that i didn't know existed ^_^
