It's nice they are posting record revenue but it's net profit that companies should be cheering about.

Congratulations Nvidia! The PC market is being dominated by integrated graphics, so it is nice to see a discreet video card maker do so well, and I wish the best for AMD and their Radeon line of GPU's as well.

I would assume the $940 million is the next quarterly revenue?

90% increase for tegra sales. damn...

Good for Nvidia. That just goes to show that it's better to be good than "cheap".

Their margins are inversely proportional to the value propositions their products offer, and you're cheering them on? Can you bend over just a little bet further to help them set new records for margins next year?

I'm just glad that when/if AMD implodes* that nVidia will still design GPUs and expect to make money that way. The recent 8xxx series delay did not have me so convinced.

Intel CPU margins are vastly than AMD CPU margins. I'm no longer convinced that AMD is still the value proposition. Once you get into imaginary property based products (and face it, in *everything* this side of gasoline and electricity center around IP costs) the old margin/value ideas no longer hold.

*I think US bankruptcy laws would allow the resurrection of ATI without the CPU designer's debt. Not sure if it could survive the transition.

Hahaha. I never get sick of ****ing god damn trolls.

dude. i am an nvidia fan, i don't think guy is just trolling. nvidia drivers would cause crashes. most people don't think about updating their drivers either. that goes for all "driver" related software, bugs are a normal product of programming.

That's the thing. he/she definitely is trolling. I have owned both AMD and Nvidia cards and the last couple years Nvidia has had much better driver support especially for new games and for SLI. Anyone who just says one is better than the other without really providing facts to their claim is a troll. Lets also move into this decade by saying ATI no longer exists!
