I waited more than 1 month to get a GTX 680, I finally gave up and got a 670 instead.

Did you really need a graphics card that desperately?

My pair of GTX 580's run my three 24" monitors at 5760 X 1200 with max settings on all games I have tried (SKYRIM, Witcher 2, Diablo III, Etc). I am not sure that upgrading GPU's with the trend to console dumed down games is that enticing. Until we get some more (not dumed down) DX 11 games I am trending to not upgrading every generation anymore.

Why get a 680 when you can get a 670 and it is just as good, as shown in benchmarks?

Depends on what you are driving. I have a 27 inch monitor and my son is sporting dual 24 inch monitors. When you have a LOT of pixels to push, that extra 10% makes a difference. I certainly don't need the GTX 690, but Skyrim will benefit from my overclocked GTX 680.

It appears that newegg.ca has a good selection of 680's and 670's now. Guess having TSMC put nVidia to the head of the class has helped. I know I did my part and ordered a EVGA GTX670 FTW, just waiting on shipment.

The vertical bar's description is very apt. "SOLD OUT" indeed.
However, I finally was able to order a EVGA GTX 680 2683 Signature card from Newegg today for something less than my left nut.
Brad, I feel for you. I have been trying to tease out actual sales numbers from NVidia's financial statements with no luck at all. It's complicated by the fact that there were plenty of GTX 670 cards around after launch but until lately GTX 680 cards were almost impossible to get. It won't be until another quarter or so to see if NVidia's revenue takes a spike (or not).
