Nvidia Rolls Out GeForce 196.34 Beta Driver, Fixes Overclocking Bug

Having trouble overclocking your Nvidia-based graphics card? If so, you may want to give the company's just-released GeForce 196.34 beta drivers a whirl. According to Nvidia, the latest releas fixes a bug with v196.21 that prohibited GPU overclocking, so you should be good to go.
Other than the overclocking fix, the beta driver doesn't appear to bring anything else new to the table, or at least Nvidia hasn't listed any other improvements. But for those of you who decided to skip the previous driver update (196.21) because of the overclocking bug, other new features relevant to both packages include:
- SLI and multi-GPU support for "many top new gaming titles," including Avatar Demo, Dirt 2, Mass Effect 2, and others.
- Upgrades PhysX System Software to version 9.09.1112.
- A ton of bug fixes.
- Users without U.S. English operating systems can select their language and download the International driver from here.
The beta driver works with GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, and 200-series desktop GPUs, as well as Nvidia's Ion graphics.

They can fix an overclocking issue in no time flat, yet getting .wav files to play over HDMI eludes them for over 6 months??? Come on people....

I am running windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit edition. Is their a link for 64 bit drivers to this download. All I see is a link to the 32 bit drivers.

The other question is: Has nVidia finally fixed the widescreen support for 4:3 aspect ratio games? The last driver I have been using because of this is the 191.07 driver. I want to upgrade but this stops it dead. I upgraded to Windows 7 for this and nVidia has fallen mightally in the driver dept. I wonder if they have noobs writing drivers now.

It's likely they've got most of their A team working on drivers for their upcoming Fermi launch.

1920x1200 standard 16:10 aspect ratio, I bought the monitor when I started running the RC for windows 7, with the idea that proper aspect ratios would finally be the norm under windows 7. Wonder if ATI's offering are any better.
