Just download the older driver (I show 196.21) and install it. It is a relitavly new driver, released in Janurary 2010 and it works fine.
The bug in the Feb. driver will be fixed and then it will be re released.

Already been done.
The nVidia 196.34 drivers fixed the GPU overclocking bug and doesn't overheat. It says beta but all they changed was the bug.

Yes, but neither Nvidia nor ATI can code working drivers. Nvidia has this problem, and ATI has the grey/black screen of death with the 5800 series.

to be fair, ATI has a long history of buggy drivers. Nvidia usually turns out good stuff.

Same here, never had an ATI driver problem. Must be one of the lucky ones I guess.
