They used to make a card with a fan that SOUNDED like a vacuum...now they have a card as BIG as a vacuum!  Can you imagine putting two of those things in?  How will you find a place to plug anything else in?

You mean a vacuume cleaner... Because as we all know, there is no sound in a vacuume!

It's funny to read the comments on the Nvidias facebook page photo of this. There are some seriously rabid fanboys out there, and they're drinking the Koolaid. And lots of it.

is it just me...or is that card longer than the motherboard. :O!!

For a single nVidia GPU, it'd have to be. What with the way nVidia makes their GPU's and the fact that they use far too much power, and generate enough eat to warm a 2 bedroom apartment. The HSF on the video card would have to be huge. Otherwise you'll melt the thing...

Mighty BOB!

My computer doubles as a space heater in the winter.  >.>

As does mine. And a table (Cooler Master Cosmos 1000).

But then again, I have 2 3870's in Crossfire, a Blu-Ray burner, Asus Xonar DX PCI-E sound card, a PCI SATA card, 6 HDD's (4 1TB, 1 1.5TB, 1 500GB), and a Phenom II x4 945 BE with a Zalman 9500 AM2 CPU cooler. Cooled by 4 green 120mm case fans.

Lets say that I don't have to have the heat on very much in the winter! =D

I bet this is fake, they probably have a 5870 hidden which is actually running Unigine Heaven.

(I may be joking somewhat but after the fake fermi sample they showed and lied about I wouldn't be surprised)

As happy as I am that Nvidia is coming out with a DX 11 card, I know this card is going to be uberexpesive for a long time.... :(
