Nvidia Launches GeForce 285.38 Drivers for Battlefield 3 Beta
If you're planning to participate in the Battlefield 3 beta that goes live tomorrow and own an Nvidia graphics card, there's a new set of drivers you should know about. Nvidia's just released R285.38 drivers, which are also in beta, supposedly boost performance in Battlefield 3 by up to 38 percent. The drivers are also supposed to help with stability and improve image quality in the game.
Other than that, the list of changes is relatively small. Nvidia added or updated SLI profiles for a handful of titles, including Battlefield 3, Dead Island, Diablo III, Dragon Age 2, Need for Speed: The Run, and Saints Row: The Third., and also fixed a performance regression issue in 285.27 beta while running Crysis 2 (DX9).
You can grab the beta drivers here and check if your PC is ready for Battlefield 3 using Nvidia's GPU analyzer here.
