So, will the GT300 be using MIMD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIMD) as has been reported for about a year, or are they sticking to the tried and true SIMD..?!

It looks like they're supporting SIMD and SIMT according to their speaker from Cray, which is what I believe they have previously supported.

So, it looks like they've gone back on their word, MIMD would have been a major step ahead for GPUs, but it looks like they don't want to be the first to make the jump.  CPUs still use SIMD; I wonder what a CPU and/or GPU would be like if it used MIMD.
