Nvidia GeForce 197.45 WHQL Driver Now Available for Download
With the launch of Nvidia's GF100 architecture, you knew another driver release was just around the corner, and here it is. Nvidia has made available its GeForce 197.41 WHQL drivers, which are mostly geared towards adding support. Here's what's new:
- Nvidia PhysX System Software v9.10.0129
- HD audio driver version 1.0.9.1
- Support added for GTX 480/470
There's isn't a whole lot mentioned in the way of performance gains, though the latest driver does bring support for the new version of MotionDSP's video enhancement software, vReveal, and this is the driver to get if you plan on playing with GPU-accelerated features in Adobe CS5, Nvidia said.

I updated drivers about a day after they came out, haven't had any problems that would be driver related yet. However I do have some friends who are having problems with bsod since this update -- now if they would only listen to me when I tell them to disable autoreboot so they can take a pic or picture of the screen.

Do you know if nVidia has given up on maintaining proper aspect ratio's? Back when Seven was beta, and then RC, games maintained their proper aspect ratio's on wide screen monitors. Now that Seven is final and has been for awhile, there is no more proper aspect ratio's. I know this is a driver issue as all one has to do is run version 191.07, as this is the last driver that supports it.

As far as I remember, there has always been an option in the NV control panel under Display, Adjust desktop size and position. Vista or 7, and every driver version that I've had. Just checked with 7 x64, 196.21. I've honestly not used it much, because my monitor supports fixed aspect scaling, and it's sharper than GPU scaling.
Are you using analog VGA or (digital) DVI/HDMI ?
(OMG Mass effect 2 antialiasing, finally....)

Thank you for pointing it out.
