How can it be so cheap?
Full HD? GPS? Compass? Low power display? How can this be so much cheaper than an iPad?

It's not an Apple - and Apple is making over $200 per iPad. http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9150045/Apple_makes_208_on_each_499_iPad

To be fair, that cost article and others like it only assume how much major parts in the iPad cost. Nowhere does it list how much it costs in R&D. So things like how much it cost to develop the custom A4 chip, design, and marketing are neatly left out. This gives a slightly skewed, if not fully distorted view of how much the device really "costs".

If this has multi touch I'll buy it the day it comes out. If not, I'll be bummed, and then buy it a few days later once I'm over it. That price point is unreal.

The iPad is basically just a big ipod touch, seriously, it's hardly a "tablet pc."
This on the other hand sounds more pc like in its features. I'll have to follow this one.
EDIT: Why is the thing so damn slow? At least it was on the slashgear.com video

I'd buy it for sure. If its Tegra 2.
Tegra 1- no way. That promo vid looked soooo slow.
Edit- ok it is the tegra 2.
On the other hand, This thing looks really thick. http://www.slashgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Notion_Ink_Adam_4.jpg

Also, i failed to see any mention or demonstration of multi-touch. That would be disappointing.

325 bucks? For 1080P, 32BG of storage, touchscreen, internet, and 16 HOURS of battery life? Holy crap, this is too good to be true (which is why I'm skeptical).
Something must be terrible wrong with it... subscription service required maybe?
If not... I'm getting one.

Going to church doesn't make you a Christian anymore than standing
in a garage makes you a car.
