I'm not really one to make a negative comment on some of the info thats posted on MAXPC site, but one thing i'm getting tired of hearing is "so and so has a tablet in the making ...but we know nothing about it"  Don't waster your readers time on articles like that...if you have something to tell about the device like specs...other then an ARM processor(we all know that that is probably a given in most of the future tablets to come out). tell us about it but other then that...its just a waste of web article space.

I would disagree with you blindhorizon.  It is interesting and appropriate that your user name is "blindhorizon" for it certainly fits someone that is posting about not wanting to get a hint at what the future may bring,  Well, back to my original point of disagrement, wasted aricle space is really in the eye of the reader.  Certain readers may find this article very interesting if they are following the market development for such devices.  I myself have been looking at possibly getting an Apple iPad, but with stories of possible competiton coming down the immediate pike I may hold off and see what future holds, or at best peal this onion back some more and see what others are saying about it.  So, open your mind blindhorizon and see that the true horizon of infomation makes a beautiful sunrise that keeps us in the light of knowledge and out of the darkness of ignorance.

i'm not going to bash you or what you have to say because there is truth in it because some people want to see info on hardware that is coming out....but come on you want to get an Ipad or something like it.  thats great they have posted other articles on the MAXPC site that actually had content and specs of soon to release tablets.  those are the kinds of articles people want especially the people that want to buy one...which i am one of them...think about how much was written about the HP tablet and the Microsoft tablet...no specs were ever included and look what happen just a few weeks maybe a month after the article posted itgot everyone talking about a product that didn't even exist...it just build hype into a product that is only rumor...people come to MAX PC site for Tech and Fact not myth and rumor.

I agree with "blindhorizon". Too much hype and not enough substance = waste of reading time! This is OK if the article is informing on a technology or market segment, but an individual product, more specs are needed. I plan on buying a tablet PC to go with my new Pocket PC. Ipad software, sorting data in an "excel" spreadsheet is lacking (or I haven't found it yet). Arm processor? Would be great if it ran Win Mobile 6 classic or Win 7.

The author in my opinion was not pumping any hype, but just letting us know what has been crossing their radars at MPC about some tablets that may be coming out this year.  Hey, I like getting insider information that only industry watch dogs can get.  As for obtaining specs on devices that are currently in R&D with any manufacturer is like attempting a root canal on a nonsedated pitbull, but honestly we are only going to get from companies like Nokia is enough info to spike our interest and that is it.  I'm not blasting you or blindhorizon, I just suggest give an author an opportunty to inform you for what it is worth.  Apparently, the info bit was not worth your time, but to me it was good news which led me to do some more research which will assist me in make future buying plans.
